Painting Beauty and Strength
Whether I'm out picking apples with my niece Grace, hiking the Tetons or walking along the beach, I love being outside. And then I can't wait to get in my studio and paint all that nature that has inspired me. I love painting joy, beauty and strength, in people and in nature.
Artists Statement
Having traveled the world, Iām inspired by the strength in people, beauty in landscapes and wonder in nature. I have painted and created most of my life. I paint to share my passions, and to uplift and inspire others to seek strength and freedom. I paint to celebrate those who have found inner strength and have overcome adversity. I hope my art inspires us all to seek a better, stronger self and believe in our destiny.
My Process
I am inspired by so many things. People, colors and landscapes I enjoy while hiking in nature. An idea comes to mind, but it isn't until I'm in the process that the art speaks to me. Asking me to show itself. I start by mixing images in Photoshop and change them in a way that inspires me. I use inks, Acrylics and markers to bring the background to life. Then I paint with Acrylic, and finish using oils to bring the art to life.
Bio
Martha Renard was born in Paris, France, spent her childhood in Africa and has traveled the world. Her medium includes oils, acrylics, mixed media and digital paintings. Having earned her Masters in Fine Art and studying at the Milan Art Institute, she is
well rounded in her artistic abilities.
What has shaped Martha most is her exposure to the world. To other cultures, people and nature and she shows exceptional talent in every medium she tries.
Currently she is working on a series of paintings to help awareness for endangered species. Her second work touches on her life in Africa.
Martha believes there is strength in everyone and in nature that we can draw from. Nature itself teaches us how to survive, grow stronger and live among the animals that inspire us.
